Dead Cells continues its path of enrichment and expansion with a new one update scheduled for Christmas, or in any case for December 2020, which will also be followed by one bigger news that the developers have only hinted without specifying further.
After three million copies sold and a major update made available last summer, therefore, Dead Cells continues to grow even after a couple of years from its original release and from The Bad Seed expansion, although we still don’t know exactly what is planned for the next update.
In an official post published on Steam, the Motion Twin team talked about a Christmas update, scheduled for about mid-December, which will bring “a lot of things”, among which we can expect a new weapon, a new mob, a lore room as well as skins and various other additional features.
In addition to these additions through next month’s update, it appears that Motion Twin also has something else in store for the next period, claiming to have “bigger news” coming in the next few months. It’s unclear whether these still relate to Dead Cells or a new project from the team as a possible Dead Cells 2 or some other upcoming titles.
