Technology specific to Philips, Ambilight only enhances the content broadcast by the TV. The Philips 55PUS7855 TV is no exception. It also benefits from a reduction of 200 euros on its original price of 699 euros: you can therefore acquire it for 499 euros at Fnac.

The Philips 55PUS7855 TV has a diagonal of 55 inches, or 139 centimeters. It offers a sleek and modern design with thin screen borders. It has the advantage of integrating Ambilight technology on three sides: this Philips specialty artificially gives more depth to the image thanks to a luminous halo diffused on the wall all around the television and which adapts to the colors of the program viewed. Some will find it rather gadget, but the immersion will be all the more satisfying, especially when watching films, like in the cinema.
Thanks to the Philips P5 processor, the TV offers upscaling in 4K for even more optimized image rendering. It is also compatible with the best video standards such as Dolby Vision and HDR10 +, coupled with the immersive sound enabled by Dolby Atmos. The image quality will be excellent, and despite its simple LED panel, the TV will display rich colors and sharp contrasts.
However, this Philips 55PUS7855 TV does not have Android TV since it is an old model, carrying the old Saphi operating system. You will still be able to access unmissable applications like Netflix, Prime Video or Youtube, but not Disney +, for example. To compensate for the lack of the interface, you can always bet on a multimedia box such as the Nvidia Shield TV or the Apple TV 4K. The TV is also compatible with Google assistants and Amazon Alexa, thus allowing voice commands.
Black Friday – Black Week: all you need to know
Let’s be honest: Black Friday dates are pretty confusing this year. Originally scheduled for November 27 and usually preceded by Black Week, it spans a wider period this year. Each e-merchant and brands communicate about the event in their own way but come together on activations of joint offers during dates agreed in advance: it is these that we consider to be the Black Friday offers. Also note that some merchants may postpone offers on Cyber Monday week.
Throughout the period, the Frandroid team will select the best good deals available through different selections:
