Our native operating system Pardus’usage area of flour in state institutions is expanding. Ministry of National Defense will expand Pardus’ usage area explained.
According to the information shared by AA, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Ministry of National Defense and HAVELSAN within the scope of the Pardus Migration, Maintenance and Maintenance Service Project at the ceremony.
The signed protocol, the use of domestic and national software between the Ministry of National Education and HAVELSAN, e-Transformation, e-Government applications, R&D, information and communication technologies It determines the principles of coordinated work and cooperation in its subjects.
In the Ministry of National Defense Since 2009 in the internal network, in the terminal server infrastructure Pardus and open source operating systems is being used. In the project, open source operating systems will be used within the data center. In this context HAVELSAN by Pardus update, dissemination and updating server systems and cyber security services will be provided. As a result of the project in question, only central management will be provided and all systems will be updated.
To manage the relevant Pardus machines 19 May 2020‘from 1.0 version announced Port Center Management System software will be used. With this software PARDUS and GNU/Linux Based clients and servers will be managed remotely.
