On November 19 – November 12 in the US, Japan, Canada and other countries – the next generation Sony console has finally made its debut on the gaming market.
The debut of PlayStation 5 it was accompanied by a lot of enthusiasm, so much so that CEO Jim Ryan confirmed that PS5 is completely sold-out at the moment. However, there were also some problems and unforeseen events, among which the difficulty encountered by enthusiasts in finding a unit of the hardware to buy is also to be mentioned. The productive effort fielded by Sony – and inevitably also influenced by the effects of the Covid 19 epidemic – was not in fact sufficient to meet demand of PlayStation 5 generated by the global gaming community.
In addition, some technical issues accompanied the Day One of some gamers. Among malfunctions related to the download of purchased software up to reports of Coil Whine phenomena on PS5, there was no shortage of unexpected events related to the debut of the new console. To take stock of the situation, the Everyeye editorial team has created a video entirely dedicated, with which we retrace the problems that characterized the launch of PlayStation 5.
