The launch of PS5 was rather troublesome: Due to the high demand and limited availability of consoles, a large number of gamers have been left dry. Now everyone is waiting for a new PS5 game to arrive and for sales to reopen, but when will that happen? Let’s try to take stock of the situation.
Unieuro was one of the retailers to have made available a new quantity of PlayStation 5 (in the Digital edition, specifically) on the day-one of last November 19th. As expected they were pulverized in no time, and there were also inefficiencies and problems to the site caused by the high turnout. The retailer then posted a thank you message, inviting everyone to “keep visiting the site for new updates”, implying that new units could be offered for sale at any moment.
A very similar message was also published by Mediaworld: “Thanks to everyone who has visited our site and booked a PS5. If you have not been able to order a console, please keep visiting our site for new updates.”. Mediaworld is also preparing to put the console back on sale? The most interesting clue we caught him on Google: as you can see in the screenshot attached at the bottom of this news, a snippet shows the November 23, 2020 as the date of availability of PlayStation 5 on Amazon.it: is this the date on which the console will be put back on sale on the well-known e-commerce site?
