They had promised and kept their word. With a new update for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, the guys at Insomniac Games have saved game transfer enabled from the original PlayStation 4 version to the PS5 remaster. To that end, both editions of the game have been updated.
The development team has not yet issued an official release, but on ResetEra the players claim to have downloaded a new patch for the PlayStation 4 edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man, which brings it to version 1.19. Updating the game on PS4 is essential as it introduces a new function in the save menu that allows you to upload your game data. Likewise, installation of the patch 1.001.000 per Spider-Man Remastered su PS5, which implements the function for downloading the aforementioned save. All previously won trophies are automatically unlocked on PS5 once the transfer is complete. If the requirements are met, the new Remastered exclusive trophies are also unlocked.
One gamer points out that it is also possible to do everything from PlayStation 5 if desired, since Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered can be installed simultaneously on Sony’s next-gen console.
