According to a new article by Macotakara published over the weekend, sources in the supply chain say Apple is preparing new AirPods Pro wireless headphones and the third-generation iPhone SE smartphone to launch in April.
According to insiders, the second generation AirPods Pro headphones will receive a charging case with “New design”… It is reported that the thickness of the case will remain the same, equal to 21 mm, height – 46 mm, width – 54 mm. By comparison, the current AirPods Pro charging case measures 45.2mm high and 60.6mm wide. That is, the charging case of the second generation will indeed differ from the first, but not radically.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the second-generation AirPods Pro headphones themselves will differ from their predecessor. “More compact” design, characterized by the absence of branded legs. “Design tested has a more rounded shape that fills more of the user’s ear“, – explained in the publication.
At the same time, there are rumors that we should wait for the release of two versions of AirPods Pro 2 – one will be in the same form factor as the original, the second – with a more rounded shape and without legs.
As for the new generation iPhone SE smartphone, apart from the fact that it will be released exactly a year after the 4.7-inch iPhone SE, nothing is known yet. Apple is rumored to be working on a larger version of the iPhone SE, likely with a 5.5-inch display and a design similar to the iPhone 8 Plus.
