A rumor that will drive not only the God of War fans but even Red Dead Redemption fans, little but sure. It seems in fact that Roger Clark, voice of Arthur Morgan, is now busy with Sony Santa Monica for super-secret dubbing.
Not only are there rumors of a Roger Clark with a lead role in God of War 2 Ragnarok, a continuation of the adventure of Kratos expected (perhaps) for this 2021, but even of a real role as main antagonist. If we told you that are we talking about Thor?
That Thor will appear in God of War 2 now seems obvious. After all, we got a huge preview about it right in the very final from the original chapter. With Ragnarok now upon us, it seems obvious that the Spartan will cross arms with the Nordic gods, Thor and Odin in the first place.
The actor has in fact shared on Instagram a job ad, aimed at voice actors, just for God of War Ragnarok. Clark did not specify why he shared the audition, and the event is in fact so random that it has given rise to all these rumors. It is the Twitter user GermanStrands who adds to the dose and speculates that he can impersonate Thor.
By coincidence, we remind you how Roger Clark has already donated his uvula in Thor & Loki: Blood Brothers, the 2011 Marvel motion picture comic. Destiny, then?
For now, there is no official confirmation, therefore take it all with a grain of salt. Not only is it not certain that Clark will play Thor in God of War 2, but we also don’t know if he will be present in the project in general. It would be epic.
The game, we remind you, is expected by the end of this 2021, even if many think that the pandemic may have blown Sony’s plans. Fingers crossed. Meanwhile, Sony has just confirmed the release windows of many of its PlayStation 5 exclusives.
