It was in the air for some time and now it’s official. Spotify announced a new price increase in Italy: to be involved, at least for the moment, is only the Family plan, i.e. what allows a maximum of 6 users belonging to the same family unit to use the Premium version each with their own account.
The price increases, the music streaming service said in an email sent to its subscribers, are active starting today and they became necessary in order to continue to innovate and invest in new contents and features. The price of Premium Family will go from 14.99 euros to 15.99 euros per month. Users with an active Premium Family subscription will be able to count on a 1 additional month at a price of 14.99 euros per month: for them, therefore, the price increase will have the starting date of 1 March.

The Premium Family price will go from € 14.99 / month to € 15.99 / month. Since you already have a Premium Family subscription, we offer you an additional month at the current price. This means that the new price will take effect for you starting from the March billing date.
