The released certification data suggests that Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei will soon announce two new consumer products – a computer monitor and a smart TV.
Information about new products, as reported by Internet sources, is included in the database of the Chinese certification site 3C (China Compulsory Certificate). The monitor is codenamed HSN. There is little information about the device, but it is claimed that we are talking about a premium panel. BOE will supply the displays for the monitor.
As for the smart TV, it has the code HD75FREA. A 75-inch model is being prepared for release, for which the production of panels has been entrusted to Changhong (Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd.). Obviously, the resolution will be 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K format).
Rumor has it that the upcoming TV will be part of Huawei’s new Smart TV family, codenamed Frea. Unfortunately, no other details are given at the moment.
