The opening event of Season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, that is Hunt for Adler, has been plagued by a variety of issues that have prevented many players from unlocking the exclusive Adler skin. To remedy this, Activision has decided to donate this DLC to everyone without the need to complete the timed challenges.
For the uninitiated, the event features three challenges in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and three challenges in Call of Duty Warzone, each with their own rewards. To get the Adler’s “Tortured and Saved” skin it was enough to complete all the challenges of one of the two games, but due to a bug, the users of the battle royale could not unlock the exclusive reward of the event. If you also don’t have the latest installment in the series and want to unlock Adler’s costume, you can simply do it logging in to the servers. It should be noted that the problems related to the challenges have been solved and, consequently, it is now possible to complete them to receive the related rewards. The decision to make the skin free is therefore due to the delay with which the fix was proposed, since the developers want everyone to have the same opportunity to get the Hunt for Adler rewards.
