Available now: iOS 14.5.1 and iPadOS 14.5.1
iOS 14.5.1 with build number 18E212 follows a week after iOS 14.5 is released, indicating that we shouldn’t expect too much in terms of new features. Apple itself indicates that an issue with app tracking transparency has been resolved, where people did not get pop-ups from apps. It may also fix an issue with the gray tracking settings toggle. In addition, a few security issues have been resolved. This update has not experienced a beta round, because after the iOS 14.5 beta, Apple immediately continued testing the iOS 14.6 beta.
For older devices that no longer receive new function updates, iOS 12.5.3 with build number 16H41 has been released. It probably only contains security improvements.
