While we heard about Bully way back in 2008, at least the last time, it looks like Rockstar has no intention of letting go of the brand just yet.
The latter, in fact, it has been updated numerous times in the last few days alone. This opens up the future of Rockstar to many possibilities: the most optimistic of which, of course, the one in which the IP can actually go back to next-gen, then PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
There has been talk of a second chapter for years, and perhaps never before has the possibility become stronger. Among other options, maybe the will of the software house to re-publish the game on modern platforms. Even just to sift the interest in today’s public.
It wouldn’t be such an absurd practice for developers either: just think of GTA 5, which now lives on consoles of three different generations, with a series of re-releases to make even Skyrim pale.
In recent days, there has been a lot of talk about how Rockstar was hiring testers for a “big project”Now in the final stages. Many have obviously thought of GTA 6, but now people’s optimism seems to have shifted to Bully 2. So should we expect a comeback in style? Will its controversial issues stand the test of time?
