Overwatch is still crowded.
Being one of the biggest multiplayer games at the time of its release, Overwatch become a name that you may have rarely heard of in recent years. This is because the hero update named Echo is the last content that marks the completion of Blizzard’s game management.
Its existence is increasingly questionable after several developers have to leave the project. Starting from the main author, until finally Game Director Jeff Kaplan who unites not only the team, but also the community.
Of course this is not without reason, Blizzard is currently developing Overwatch 2 which until now has not received any news at all. Even so, the game still seems to be loved by the fans.
This is proven by the number of players who are still strong. Talk to Gamespot, Game Director Overwatch 2 Aaron Keller said that Overwatch currently get approximately 60 million players with more than 10 million players compared to the number on the end of 2019 ago.
That number may not be a fantastic number in comparison Apex Legends or Call of Duty: Warzone with 100 million players, but because the businesses of the two are different, they cannot be compared. Overwatch itself very seldom get big discounts and even switch to free-to-play.
Overwatch now it can be played on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. It is not clear when Overwatch 2 will be released.
