With the update of Samsung Good Lock released at the end of last month we had the confirmation of the imminent arrival of a new module called Routine +, which is now officially available for all users and brings with it some interesting features designed to enhance the potential of Bixby.
This is a module that does things a little differently from the others, as it allows you to create new Bixby routines using the functionality of the module itself but which will also be available in the main application.
In essence, Routine + can be considered as a kind of a plug-in that adds new features to Samsung’s virtual assistant routines.
Here is the new Samsung Good Lock Routine + module
Location-based quick access allows you to change the actions performed by a double press or a long press on one of the phone’s physical keys based on certain factors: Routine + uses location as an example but you can change it to use other factors .
Another interesting feature is the one that allows you to make a recording of some activities through a special mobile button, displayed on the side of the screen.
There is no lack of integration with S Pen (at the moment it requires a model with Bluetooth), with the possibility of assigning different aerial actions to perform certain activities.
Another interesting feature is that which allows the user to assign a different activity to each finger, using the fingerprint reader to recognize the various fingers. And again, among the features of Routine + there are a voice alert to inform the user that the battery is running low and the ability to share the routines created through a QR code.
The Routine + module requires Samsung One UI 3.1 and can be downloaded from the Samsung Galaxy Store or from APK Mirror (here you will find the dedicated page).
