As you may know, the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti is about to hit the market. In fact, in fact, it is very likely that several stores have already received a few units of this card … After all, some retailers have already started putting the new sign on their websites!
However, in some cases, even before the official launch of the board itself, prices have already started to scare consumers.
The RTX 3080 Ti has arrived in stores… But the prices are scary
Therefore, it is expected that the new NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti will hit the market on May 13, that is, in about 10 days. Thus, some stores have already started putting some models on their websites, revealing what may well be the GPU’s launch price.
Having said all that, we had already seen an MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Ventus OC 3X on the X-Kom website, but now, we have several Australian stores featuring other models from MSI, but also from Gigabyte.
Interestingly, some Australian stores aim for an NDA until May 26th, while other stores aim for delivery of the stock already in warehouse on May 16th.
As for prices, we have models starting at 1300 €, with others reaching 2500 €. Which turns out to be bad news, since right at the launch, the minimum price is already 300 or 400 € above the price recommended by the manufacturer (999 €). However, these prices are not confirmed by anyone, and can be simple ‘placeholders’.
However, it must be borne in mind that these new cards already have the second generation of the NVIDIA mining limiter! Therefore, it is possible that the demand is a little lower. Still, with the current craze in the world of graphics cards, even without miners in line, it will be very complicated to find units of these models. In other words, the price is expected to increase significantly at the beginning of the RTX 3080 Ti cycle.
