Since the launch ofEpic Games Store the creators of Fortnite Battaglia Reale have donated at least one game to their users every week. But how much did such an initiative cost the company? To give the answer is a document that emerged on the net thanks to the legal dispute between Epic and Apple.
The file in question allows us to find out how much the company has invested to offer free games up to September 2019. The total spent on free weekly games amounts to just over 11 and a half million dollars, which are not evenly distributed between the various games. In fact, the most expensive were the Batman Arkham ($ 1.5 million), Subnautica ($ 1.4 million) e Mutant Year Zero ($ 1 million). Unfortunately, due to timing, the document does not contain information on the amount paid out by Epic to win the premium version of Grand Theft Auto V, probably one of the most appreciated gifts by users of the platform.
Waiting to be able to redeem Pine for free on the Epic Games Store, we remind you that among the various information that emerged thanks to the documents of the most popular cause of the moment we find references to Microsoft’s desire to bring xCloud to other consoles.
