Microids and Paul Cuisset are pleased to announce Flashback 2, a follow-up to the acclaimed platform adventure game first launched in 1992 on the Amiga, only to be converted to a wide variety of platforms following its tremendous success.
Flashback 2 is now in full development, with a launch window fixed in the 2022. The publication is currently scheduled on PC and an unspecified squad of consoles. A team supervised by the show’s dad himself, Paul Cuisset, takes care of the production. The details of the story are not yet known, but the creators have ensured that the protagonist will once again be Conrad B. Hart.
“I’ve had the idea of developing the Flashback sequel for a long time. I can’t wait for players to discover the new adventures of Conrad B. Hart, a character I created over thirty years ago.”, Cuisset said. “With Microids, we aim to please fans of the original title while capturing new players with a penchant for futuristic games.”
The original Flashback, remember, is back in physical and digital format in 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in a collection that also contains another great classic of the time, Another World.
