Genesis, the premium brand of Hyundai, is preparing to officially debut in Europe over the next summer. It will start from the United Kingdom, Germany and Switzerland. The first dealerships, renamed “Studio”, will open in London, Munich and Zurich. Nothing specific has been said for Italy but it is likely that the brand will arrive as soon as it further expands its presence within the Old Continent.
With the official arrival of the manufacturer in Europe, orders will open of the Genesis G80 sedan and the Genesis GV80 SUV. The G70 and GV70 models will also arrive later. But there’s more as the automaker has announced that it will also bring the Electrified G80 to Europe, its first electric car recently unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show. This is an interesting vehicle that rests on the Hyundai Group’s E-GMP platform.
During the first 12 months they will arrive then two more battery-powered models, one of which is always built starting from the new dedicated platform of the Korean Group. However, there are no details, at least for the moment. Genesis aims to offer customers a different shopping experience so you can differentiate yourself from other brands.
Customers will be able to buy cars both in the stores and directly online. The brand has developed a range of easy-to-use digital tools, including an online configurator and a completely new eCommerce platform.
Those who go to the dealerships can be followed by those who are called Genesis Personal Assistant that will become the reference points for customers. The manufacturer aims to establish a relationship of trust with customers by offering clear and transparent price lists (but without discounts). The deliveries of the cars can also take place at home or at the office. A 5-year service plan will also be included with the purchase of the car, offering: warranty, maintenance, roadside assistance, courtesy car and software updates.
