A few weeks after the definitive closure of Google’s internal teams working on exclusives for Stadia, the streaming gaming platform has suffered another blow. In fact, the news regarding the resignation of John Justice, or the VP and Head of Product of the Google Stadia project.
The abandonment of Justice, the face of Stadia along with Phil Harrison, was confirmed by the same company from Mountain View during an interview with the portal 9to5Google. Unfortunately, the causes of the divorce between Google Stadia and its vice president have not emerged, but it is clear that what has just happened is nothing more than one of the many events that in recent times are highlighting the difficulty that the giant of the world of technology is encountering in managing of the project. In addition to the closure of its internal teams and the subsequent dismissal of Jade Raymond, a few weeks ago there was also talk of the crazy costs of ports for Google Stadia and the earnings well below expectations.
It therefore seems that the situation of the platform is not the best and it is not clear what Google’s plans are for a possible relaunch. In the meantime, a small update has been released that introduced the search bar on the Google Stadia store.
