Would Microds have decided to shoot without warning? While the recent releases of XIII or Les Tuniques Bleues have not necessarily met with the expected success, the French publisher seems to decide to bring down his cards with the pace of a frantic player. After an original episode which had taken advantage of a certain visual proximity with Another World, its Fade to Black sequel and an HD remake under the leadership of Ubisoft in 2013, Flashback returns from the early 90s with the announcement of a new episode in due form.
Flashback rpare, Flashback remplace
Carrment Baptism Flashback 2, this sequel (finally) number still leaves an immense aura of mystery hovering around the next adventures of Conrad B. Hart, but Microds has already made it clear that the essential Paul Cuisset will once again be in charge.
This new action / platform game is already scheduled to relaunch the famous adventurer’s space adventures in 2022, on PC and consoles, without further details.
While waiting to find out if Flashback 2 will take over from Fade to Black or the first episode, Paul Cuisset did not fail to express his enthusiasm:
Developing Flashback 2 has been a long-standing desire. I can’t wait for players to discover the rest of the adventures of Conrad B. Hart, a character who was created almost 30 years ago. With Microids, we want to make it a point of honor to produce a sequel that will appeal to fans of the first episode. but also a new audience ready to immerse themselves in this futuristic universe.
See you next year to find out (and judge) the result. So, ready for hindsight?
