Introduced Oppo A54 5G and Oppo A74 5G for the European market at not the lowest price
In an attempt to participate in the leveraging of Huawei’s stake, and to expand its presence in Europe, Oppo unveiled the Oppo A54 5G and Oppo A74 5G in the region. Already from the name it is clear that the emphasis is on supporting fifth generation networks.
Both smartphones are very similar to each other in terms of performance and exterior. The main difference between them is the amount of RAM and flash drive. So, the Oppo A54 5G comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, while the Oppo A74 5G has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It’s even strange that with such minor differences, Oppo decided to offer two models, and not release one smartphone in two memory modifications.

The new items are powered by a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery with 18 W fast charging. They work under the control of the proprietary shell ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the side, support for NFC and Bluetooth 5, and both smartphones received the Snapdragon 480 as a hardware platform. The Oppo A54 5G was priced at $ 324, and for the Oppo A74 5G they ask for $ 360. Asian versions of smartphones are cheaper, but the set of sensors in the cameras is simpler and the Oppo A54 has a Helio P35 chip.
