Sony must have decided that May is the right time to lead hands: i three games coming to the PlayStation Now catalogin fact, they are all united by this common thread. Specifically we are talking about two fighting games, Streets of Rage 4 e Jump Force, and a game that doesn’t discount like Nioh.
All starting today, May 4, will be available both in streaming (the only option to use them from PC), and for download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Nioh is a soulslike released in 2017 all skill and frustration, not recommended for those who have the easy controller launch. Last year the sequel, Nioh 2, was released and in our review we talked about how this kind of titles focus on an element that for a certain period seemed to have to be eclipsed from the videogame scene, namely the difficulty. The same obviously goes for Nioh, the original: if you like challenges, and you know that the most powerful weapon in certain battles can be patience, then this is the game for you.
Streets of Rage 4 was launched in April of last year, but it has its roots in the past: it is the fourth chapter of the historical 2D scrolling fighting game that preserves the nostalgic core of the serious but at the same time updates it to the videogame present. It will be available via PlayStation Now until Monday 1 November 2021.
Finally there is another fighting game, namely Jump Force (2019), a dream for anime fans. The roster of fighters in fact draws from the most successful Japanese cartoons such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, Bleach, Hunter X Hunter, Yu-Gi-Oh !, Saint Seya, Hakusho and Death Note. In this case, the availability window on PlayStation Now will be narrower, and will arrive at August 2, 2021.
