Realme C11 does the encore, and is revived less than a year after its official debut in Europe in a 2021 version revised downwards. Well yes, usually – but not always, it’s true – the variants are entrusted to the market with slightly improved specifications, perhaps with a more powerful processor, perhaps with an extra camera or the display resolution that gains a few pixels. This is obviously not the case, given that the C11 2021 currently proposed in Russia and the Philippines tends to worsen its data sheet.
There is no longer the Helio G35 processor, replaced by the Unisoc SC9863, but the 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory remain. The front camera is always from 5MP, but behind a sensor is lost: from the 13 + 2MP combo of C11 2020 we pass to a disappointing single 8MP. At least the display is always him, with 6.52 in diagonal and HD + resolution with drop notch.
Aesthetically it is refined, despite the pronounced chin that reminds us that we are always talking about a low-end smartphone. The screen-to-body ratio is still decent, equal to 88.7%. Speaking of the body, it is made of plastic with a pleasant texture on the back on which the Realme brand is imprinted. The battery from 5,000mAh with 10W charging and the presence of the 3.5mm jack. There is also NFC.
Realme C11 in the 2021 version is available in Iron Gray and Lake Blue colors at a price included between about 85 and 95 euros. We currently have no information regarding a possible marketing of the smartphone also in Europe. Given the extremely low price, it could however represent a good solution for those with few pretensions or for those who need a device emergency.
