A few hours after the Resident Evil Village demo debut on Steam, the dataminers immediately set to work to find some additional information on the Capcom horror among the game files and found aimage of the protagonist, Ethan Winters.
If you have played the seventh installment of the series, you will remember that Ethan’s face is never shown in the course of the adventure, but it seems that in Village things are about to change. In addition to focusing more on the figure of Ethan, who will have a greater space within the story and will not be just a sort of puppet in the player’s hands, Resident Evil Village will also give us the opportunity to observe his face… or maybe not?
In this regard, an image appeared on social media apparently extrapolated from the source code of the PC demo which allows us to know the appearance of the protagonist, however, it appears that the face is not actually present in the game and that the file in question remains unused. Could it be a provisional and not a definitive model, then? There are also those who hypothesize the unofficial nature of the image, apparently taken from a mod, therefore many doubts about Ethan’s face.
Before leaving you to the image, we remind you that the game will reach the store shelves starting from the next one Friday 7 May 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Google Stadia. Did you know that a trick has already been discovered to reset the Resident Evil Village Steam demo timer? Unfortunately, this method is only valid on PC and there is no way to play again when time runs out on consoles and Google Stadia.
