Game news STALKER 2: Xbox exclusive would be very short
Yesterday, STALKER 2 was back in the news, through an interview with GSC developers granted to Gaming Bolt. They mentioned the exclusivity granted to Xbox, but a document, published by The Verge, somewhat modifies the assessment of the speech held.
This document in question, you can imagine, was published in connection with the Epic vs Apple case, decidedly rich in lessons. According to the latter, the duration of the Xbox exclusive of STALKER 2 would only be three months, after which the title would be free to be published anywhere. This does not necessarily contradict the fact that the title is currently not planned on PS5, but puts the whole in perspective. In this same document, are evoked Tetris Effect: Connected, which would be entitled to exclusive updates to Xbox supports during six months, and The Gunk, who in turn seems to be definitely exclusive. Obviously, neither Microsoft nor GSC Games Wold have yet commented on this information. We will therefore have to wait a bit to find out what exactly is going on.
