Ugly, ugly rumors come from Bloomberg: Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the Director behind the development of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has in fact left the studios of CD Projekt RED. The reason? Accusations of mobbing, then dropped with the latter who turned out to be clean. Despite everything, however, the developer has decided to leave the company.
The company conducted an investigation several months ago into allegations of bullying, a term used to define bullying or harassment in the workplace. The suspect in question would have been Tomaszkiewicz himself. According to Bloomberg, the allegations have been dropped, but the developer still said he wanted to leave CD Projekt.
In the email sent by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz to the staff, it was pointed out that he resigned himself to the idea of having to work with people who try “Fear, stress or discomfort” in his regards. “A lot of people experience fear, stress, or discomfort when working with me“, said the Tomaszkiewicz.
The developer of The Witcher 3 he then apologized to CD Projekt staff for all the disagreements it caused, later claiming that he would work on himself in hopes of changing his behavior.
