After marketing Wonder Boy Asha in Monster World in Japan, ININ Games and the authors of Studio Artdink set the launch date in the West of the sequel to The Dragon’s Trap and, for the occasion, they also confirm its arrival on PC.
Asha’s platform adventure epic will start in Europe, North America and Australia from May 28 on consoles, both on PlayStation 4 and on Nintendo Switch. The title will be offered in both physical and digital editions: the first will be offered at the recommended price of 39.99 euros and will also include the original Monster World 4, while the digital version will be sold at a price of 34.99 euros but without the bonus of the fourth chapter of Monster World.
As for the PC edition, the emulators of the protagonist of the next chapter of Wonder Boy will have to wait until June 29, 2021 before diving into the atmosphere of the fantasy experience packaged by Studio Artdink. We recall that several authors of the original Wonder Boy collaborated on the project, such as the father of the series Ryuichi Nishizawa, the composer Shinichi Sakamoto, he character designer Maki Ōzora and the chief creative officer Takanori Kurihara.
