Microsoft continues to constantly expand the Xbox Game Pass offering and to make its gaming on demand service increasingly decisive within its strategy within the videogame market. That the Redmond house is preparing more surprises for its fans?
As pointed out by the XboxEra portal, for a few hours the description of the subscription to the standard version of Xbox Game Pass for console has also included Xbox Live Gold among its bonuses, a service with which it is possible to play online on Xbox consoles and redeem the games that are given away monthly to members. Typically, Xbox Live Gold is accessible either through a subscription to the service itself, or through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So that things are about to change?
Hard to say at the moment, but it seems that the description has been changed for a few minutes, as reported by users ResetEra. In the most optimistic of hypotheses, it could have been an anticipation of a change of plans by Microsoft, which would therefore guarantee Gold to all members of the Game Pass, regardless of the type of subscription chosen. It is not at all excluded, however, that it was a simple mistake, and that the service will not undergo any change in the near future.
While waiting for Microsoft to clarify the situation with a possible official comment, we remind you that the Xbox Game Pass May games have just been announced, including Red Dead Online and FIFA 21.
