Xiaomi announced the arrival of the series in Italy Mi TV P1. To compose it are four models: 32″, 43″, 50″ e 55″. All panels are LCD retroilluminati a LED with an update rate of a 50 / 60 Hz and a 178 ° viewing angle. The design features thin edges on three of the four sides (the bottom is an exception). The rest of the specifications vary depending on the cut chosen. The 32 “has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel and a panel a 8-bit. The audio section consists of two tweeters and two woofers with an output equal to 5 W x 2. They are supported Dolby Audio e DTS-HD.
The Smart TV platform is Android TV 9 with built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB for storage. The scope of delivery includes compatibility with Miracast, the pre-installed Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube applications and the ability to interact with the TV via Alexa after connecting an external speaker. Connectivity makes available Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, a 100 Mbps Ethernet port, a CI + slot, two USB 2.0 ports and two HDMI ports, one with ARC, the audio return channel. The remote control communicates via Bluetooth and is equipped with a microphone.
From 43 “up the resolution is always Ultra HD with 10-bit panels obtained via a native 8-bit depth and FRC (here are we explain in detail what it is). Unlike the 32 “you can play HDR videos in HDR10 e Dolby Vision (HLG is not mentioned but it could be an oversight). There is also motion compensation which enhances moving images via MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation). The audio section has the same characteristics as the lower cut but increases the power bringing it to 10 W x 2.
For the “smart” part we find Android TV 10 with 2 GB of RAM e 16GB of ROM. Voice interaction with the Google assistant can also be used in “hands-free” thanks to microphones built into the TV. A special selector allows you to completely disable them to protect privacy. Available connections include two HDMI 2.0 inputs and an HDMI 2.1 with eARC, the advanced audio return channel.
The 50 “and 55” further improve some features. The ability to cover 85% of the NTSC color space is declared and the format is added HDR10+, the version of HDR10 with dynamic metadata (such as Dolby Vision). The rest of the specs are shared with the 43 “.
