As the Destiny 2 Guardian Games continue, Bungie opens a window on the near future of Beyond the Light by showing in video all the news of the Season of the Technosymbionte, the next ingame phase of the sci-fi shooter.
The development house of Bellevue starts with the confirmation of the return of the Vault of Glass Incursion in Destiny 2. In the Tecnosimbionte season, the Guardians will have to infiltrate the Vex network and participate in the new Six Player Hack activity which will allow them to acquire even rarer pieces of equipment.
To face the threat posed by the umpteenth invasion of the Vex, the protectors of the Last City will collaborate with Mithrax: Together with the Kell of the House of Light, the Vanguard can follow the routes of the Sacred Technique and leverage this knowledge for destroy the simulation of the Vex.
The trailer for the presentation of the Season of Tecnosymbionte sets its launch for May 11 on PC, Google Stadia and consoles. From may 22 it will be possible to relive the experience of Vault of Glass: in this new form, the Destiny Raid will not differ much from the original version but will still boast several structural changes, along with new challenges, triumphs and old rewards.
Important innovations are also planned with the Synthesis of Armor, the free feature for all players that will allow Guardians to transform any piece of equipment into a universal decoration. Season Pass players will be able to instantly unlock the Exotic Sidearm Criostesia 77K, as well as several specific universal decorations, an experience point bonus, and more. Destiny 2 Beyond the Light Technosymbiont Season will therefore start on May 11 and will officially end on August 24.
