The quality that they have succeeded in making, has indeed made The Witcher 3 not only one of the best games ever born by CD Projekt Red, but also the best action RPG game to have emerged in the gaming industry. The combination of the fantastic gameplay, story, characters, visuals, and music makes it deserving of the praise that keeps coming. With the confirmation that the development process for the next series of The Witcher is still mysterious, this franchise has come with bad news. One of his brains left CD Projekt.
Director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Konrad Tomaszkiewicz officially left CD Projekt. Based on a report from the Bloomberg website, Tomaszkiewicz was accused of bullying at work and in the end, triggered an internal investigation process. Although this investigation process led to a positive conclusion that he was innocent, Tomaszkiewicz ultimately chose to stay out. He understands that there are some CDPR employees who are afraid, uncomfortable, and experience stress when working with him. Therefore, he apologized.
It is not yet clear how significantly Tomaszkiewicz’s departure will affect future CDPR projects, especially for the latest series The Witcher, which is reportedly being developed. How about you? How many of you are still optimistic or pessimistic about the future of CDPR as a developer?
