Apple Design Award
Pok Pok Playroom is a mobile game specially developed for children between 2 and 6 years old. It is an educational game that has a lot of visual appeal. So those are bonus points for the jury of the Apple Design Award. The game is beautifully tailored for the iPhone and iPad and is also free for the first two weeks.
Children can learn playfully with Pok Pok. The nice thing about this game is that it grows with the child. This allows the user to continue to discover new things and in principle you can never get tired of the game like with other toys.
A second bonus point for Apple was the inclusive world around which Pok Pok Playroom revolves. There is a lot of diversity in the game, with the developers envisioning a range of different people, family structures, genders, races and skills. That also makes the game an app suggested by educators as a powerful learning tool for child development.
