Battlefield Portal is the third major mode in Battlefield 2042 and promises to provide a lot of fun thanks to endless possibilities.
During EA Play Live, Electronic Arts and Ripple Effect Studios have just Battlefield Portal Announced. It is a completely new game experience that has never been part of the series before. Portal is a community-driven platform that provides countless imaginary gaming experiences by allowing players to define their own rules and their own Battlefield experience.
In Battlefield Portal, players can use a powerful toolbox with settings, custom modes and a Logic Editor, which can be used completely in your browser to make sharing and composing even easier. In this way, the players can not only create unexpected battles, but also share and discover them. The mode is packed with weapons, vehicles, gear and more, set in the new locations from Battlefield 2042 and the iconic, popular maps from Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.
One against a hundred? No problem
If you want snipers from 1942 to compete against futuristic shotguns from 2042, you can configure that perfectly. If you want one sniper to compete against 100 players with a shotgun, that is also possible. In that case you can provide one player with an extra health or a damage multiplier. This way you quickly get a boss that could have been picked right out of an MMO. Of course you can also organize knife versus defibrillators fights or even a hardcore team deathmatch showdown. After all, the possibilities are endless. New content that will be added to Battlefield 2042 later will also be part of Portal.
“Battlefield Portal is truly a declaration of love to our passionate and loyal fans,” said Justin Wiebe, Senior Design Director at Ripple Effect Studios. “We’ve created a set of tools that really empowers the community to create their own signature Battlefield experiences while bringing back these iconic Battlefield classics for our veteran players to revel in and our new players to enjoy them for the first time.” experienced.”
