The Nvidia RTX family of professional video adapters has officially expanded with the RTX A2000 model, powered by the GA106 GPU. The device is remarkably low-profile and will be available for purchase in October for a suggested price of $ 450.
The Nvidia RTX A2000 uses an 8nm GA106 crystal in a configuration with 3328 CUDA cores, 104 tensor and 26 RT cores, and a 192-bit memory interface. The video buffer is represented by six gigabytes of GDDR6 with ECC support and a bandwidth of 288 GB / s.
The nominal TGP (Total Graphics Power) level is only 70 W, thanks to which the novelty is devoid of a power connector at the end. True, in order to “fit” the RTX A2000 into these frames, the GPU boost-mode frequency had to be limited to 1200 MHz. The computing power in FP32 operations reaches 8 teraflops.
A two-slot cooler with a centrifugal fan is responsible for cooling the video card. Four Mini DisplayPort 1.4a video outputs are available on the rear panel. 16 PCI Express 4.0 lanes act as a connection interface.
