D-Link starts selling the AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 USB adapter, the first information about which was announced during the January CES 2021 consumer electronics show, which was held entirely in digital format due to the pandemic.
The new product (model DWA-X1850) looks like a regular flash drive with a USB connector. Implemented support for the Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) standard, as well as 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands.
Product dimensions are 95.5 × 30 × 12.7 mm, weight – 23.6 g. Support for 128-bit WPA3 encryption is implemented. The declared data transfer rate reaches 574 Mbps (2.4 GHz) and 1200 Mbps (5 GHz).
The device is great for streaming 8K video and large files. The developer provides the novelty with a two-year warranty.
