New rumors about Sledgehammer’s upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Vanguard keep popping up. Thanks to the recent leaked images, it is almost safe to assert the setting of the Second World War and the passage of the MBT in the future. To this information and earlier rumors, the well-known insider decided to throw in a few more interesting details.
The new information about the Vanguard comes from Tom Henderson, who has previously reported on various leaks about Battlefield 2042, and it is being served in a veiled form. Let’s start with the GIF image and add the number “24” to it, where Kermit the frog is looking at some kind of map. Most likely, the insider is thus hinting at 24 cards in the upcoming shooter.
Continuing, the next tweet with the word “soon” and the image of the military alphabet, in which the first letter “A” means “Alpha”. Thus, Henderson announces the start of the alpha test in the near future.
The third tweet contains a message stating that “dynamic game weather is wonderful” and an image from Battlefield 2042, thus hinting fans that they should expect something similar in Vanguard.
Another contains the Treyarch logo and a link to Bad Wolves’ great Zombie cover, hinting that the studio behind Black Ops Cold War’s zombie mode is working on another one for the new game.
And finally, a tweet with a calendar image, which has the date – November 5, 2021. It looks like Henderson thinks the game will be released on that day.
Recall that all of the above information is just rumors, without official confirmation from the developer and publisher, and therefore users should take it with a reasonable degree of skepticism.
