The developers of Halo Infinite, the main project of the Xbox Series X | S, told the latest news about the game – the release will take place this year, but fans of the campaign with friends will have to wait.
The co-op mode in the campaign will appear after about three months, that is, in the first quarter of 2022. The developers discussed the option to postpone the game again (it was supposed to be released along with the new consoles in 2020), but decided that it was ready for release, and the missing content can be dropped later. The release is scheduled for November-December 2021.
In addition to the cooperative mode, a level constructor will also be released later than the release of the game – it will be delayed for six months. At the same time, insiders (not ordinary CBT participants) will have the opportunity to watch it in the near future – the second phase of closed testing will begin soon, where new modes and a larger number of participants will be available.
Halo Infinite is currently “in the polish and bug-catching stages.”
