The first ratings and reviews of “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” have appeared online. It turned out that the first impressions of the critics were not unfounded – the films have a very good rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a pretty good GPA for Metacritic.

92% of critics recommend the film for viewing, it received an average score of 70. They praise the chases, action and general multi-genre of the picture. Suddenly they scold the main character, who turned out to be too gray.
This is Marvel doing what we’re used to seeing from Marvel, but doing pretty much everything right this time around – and it’s rare.
Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has a heart and an adventurous spirit to satisfy fans of superhero movies. It’s a shame that the protagonist has a more boring personality than the average Marvel superhero.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a very different MCU movie, and we’re thrilled to see it start the next phase in it. Destin director Daniel Cretton balances the action with humor and love around a family drama that immediately engages the viewer.
Lowest movie rating put the Slant edition for yet another imposter syndrome in the films of the MCU. The main character doubts his abilities too much, so watching the picture is not so interesting, and the ending again merges into an extravaganza of special effects, where it is difficult to clearly see something.
“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” will be released on September 2 in Russia.
