Sukesh Chandrashekhar, lodged as an under-trial in Delhi’s Rohini Jail, is accused of extorting Rs 200 crore from a businessman over a period of one year. ED officials say there are more than 20 cases of extortion against him and that he operated a racket from inside his jail cell. The ED also raided the residence of Sukesh’s associate Leena Maria Paul, Paul, an actor who has worked mostly in Malayalam films.
