Ghost of Tsushima: Legends may start offering in-game purchases in the future, according to the ESRB rating.
The rating, which provides a general description of the multiplayer mode developed by Sucker Punch, also mentions in-game purchases on both Playstation 4 and PlayStation 5. There are none in the current version of the game, so it is unclear if in-game purchases will be limited to cosmetics.
It is a multiplayer action game in which players take on the role of a warrior / fighter (eg samurai, hunter, assassin, ronin) who joins others in the battle against supernatural forces. From a third-person perspective, players engage in close combat using katanas, arrows, and throwing weapons to slay demons and enemy soldiers. Players can engage in stealth kills by jumping from rooftops and hitting enemies; they can also perform finishing moves such as cutting enemies’ throats or strikes to the neck or skull. Combat can be frantic, with large splashes of blood and occasional dismemberment. Several episodes depict large piles of burnt corpses.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will be released on September 3 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
