Owners of PlayStation consoles at the end of August got the chance to play the first alpha of one of the most promising releases of the fall – the shooter Call of Duty: Vanguard. Now beta testing for all platforms is next in line, which will take place this month, and the developer Sledgehammer Games has shared new details on it.
Players will have the opportunity to play on 5 maps: Champion Hill, Hotel Royal, Gavutu, Red Star and Eagle’s Nest (added in the second week of testing). The new “Champion Hill” mode will once again be available for testing along with several others. In the first week of beta, players will be able to play Champion Hill, Domination, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed and Patrol. On the second, the Search and Destroy modes will be added to this list.
Champion Hill will have 2 AR, 2 LMG, 2 Sniper Rifles, 2 Shotguns and 2 Pistols available. Testers will be able to unlock 10 upgrades for each weapon. In other major multiplayer modes, players will be able to upgrade their available weapons to level 30 and experiment with multiple custom download slots (12 for PlayStation users and 10 for PC and Xbox).
In addition, a new function “Combat Pacing” will be presented, which will help you choose several match options for yourself:
- Tactical – Standard multiplayer lobby with 6v6 mode
- Assault – suitable for those who need more targets to kill (20 – 28 players)
- Blitz is a “high intensity” lobby where players will have to fight in matches with even more players than in “Sturm” – 28 – 48.
And finally, a few words about operators. Players will have a choice of six pieces: Daniel Takayasu, Roland Zaimet, Lucas Riggs, Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson and Arthur Kingsley. Each of them will have one finishing movement.
The Call of Duty: Vanguard beta for PlayStation users will be available from September 10-13 if they pre-ordered the game, and from September 16-20, they will have an OBT. For PC and Xbox owners, they will only be able to play from September 16 to 20 with pre-order. MBT for them will be held from 18 to 20 September.
