A dataminer of Halo Infinite unveiled the number of maps that the mode Multiplayer will include at launch: we talk about 23 maps, considering both that Arena and the BTB (Big Team Battle) ones. This means that the Xbox shooter will have more maps than Call of Duty Vanguard at launch.
The source of this information is @ Surasia4, who shared the number of Halo Infinite Multiplayer maps in response to a tweet from Call of Duty Vanguard, as you can see for yourself below. The dataminer also points out that the multiplayer mode of 343 Industries’ shooter will be free, unlike Activision’s new title.
The dataminer then elaborated the question, explaining that the count was done by taking into consideration only the maps that are actually in the game files he analyzed, or those that have assets. The number of maps, as mentioned, is defined by adding that Arena and the BTB ones: we will be able to see two versions of the latter in the next test phase, but in the final game “there will be many more”. There test phase, as suggested by the Halo Infinite dataminer, it will be in October.
As always, we remind you that we are talking about rumor e datamining: It is possible that the player count is incorrect or that some of the maps are not published when Halo Infinite Multiplayer is released. There is also the possibility that some of the content will arrive after D1.
One certainty is linked to the fact that Halo Infinite has changed the radar following the suggestions of the players.
