Apple has announced an update to its Fitness + service, which was first introduced last year. Users now have access to new workouts such as meditation and Pilates, as well as special programs to prepare for winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding.
Group workouts will also appear in Fitness +. Thanks to the SharePlay function, users can exercise with their friends by starting a workout in iMessage or FaceTime. The screen will display not only the coach, but also the user with whom you started a joint lesson. Plus, you’ll see your stats and activity rings, and get notified when your coworker has closed their activity rings.
Apple Fitness + arrives in 15 new countries this year. The trainings will be in English, but subtitles can be turned on in one of six languages.
