Actor Tim Roth spoke about his return to the MCU in the upcoming Disney Plus series “She-Hulk.” Roth made his MCU debut in 2008, and his character only appeared again in Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (in which Roth voiced him).
I did The Incredible Hulk many years ago simply because I thought my kids would be happy about it. I did it for them and I really enjoyed doing it. And when they came to me and said, “We’re adapting She-Hulk. Could you come back as this character?” I said, “Sure. It should be fun. But I was really surprised. It wasn’t until Mark Ruffalo came to shoot his material that I said,” Oh, this is how you do it! With a sense of humor!”.
Little is known about Roth’s return to the role, but after Shang-Chi forged some kind of partnership between him and Doctor Strange hero Benedict Wong, it seems that he is now more of a good guy than a villain.
In Shih Hulk, Tatiana Maslani will play the role of Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner’s cousin. The film is billed as a legal comedy, and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has already announced that more characters may appear on the series. Along with Maslani, Ruffalo and Roth, the series also stars Jamila Jamil, Renne Elise Goldsberry, Josh Segarra and Ginger Gonzaga.
