Call of Duty: Vanguard open beta for all platforms started yesterday evening with crossplay support and two new playlists. Developer Sledgehammer Games originally planned to end the beta on September 20, but now, to the delight of fans of the series, it has been announced that the MBT will be extended until Wednesday, September 22.
Now for the bad news: while we have previously reported cases of banned cheaters being prevented from entering the Vanguard beta, there are already various short videos on the network showing unscrupulous players using third-party programs. This was also reported by reputable insider Tom Henderson.
Many players suffer from cheaters in Warzone, and now they even made it to the beta version of Vanguard, thereby preventing ordinary users from feeling the full range of positive emotions. Neither Activision nor Sledgehammer Games has yet responded to such videos. Let’s hope that the future anti-cheat, which is due out later this year, will do its job and reduce the number of cheaters many times over.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will release on November 5th on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
