This law will be implemented soon
There were many criticisms about the death sentence of the Taliban and giving a strong reaction to this, Turabi said that these laws will be implemented soon. We didn’t criticize anybody’s laws or say anything about anybody’s punishment. Only we will decide how to keep our law and what it should be. Islam will be fully followed in this law and will formulate its own laws on the Qur’an. Let us tell you that the Taliban will soon implement the punishments of the old regime. Islamic law scholar Mulla Nooruddin Turabi is 60 years old and during the previous government he was the Minister of Justice and the deputy chairman of the so-called Virtue Propaganda Department. On the orders of Turabi, the religious police used to catch anyone and punish them. At that time the whole world used to condemn this punishment of Taliban.
What is punishment?
Under Islamic law, the accused were shot in the head as a punishment and the bullet was fired by any member of the victim’s family. In addition, settlements were made with the Pidich family’s money. Sentences were public, but case trials and convictions were all very confidential.
