Dubai. Punjab Kings beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by five runs in an Indian Premier League match on Saturday. Sunrisers Hyderabad restricted Punjab Kings to 125 for seven in an Indian Premier League match on Saturday as West Indies’ Jason Holder bowled a brilliant 3 for 19 in an Indian Premier League match. The second opener Mayank Agarwal (05) also became the second victim of Holder on the fifth ball of the same over. Agarwal, who scored 67 against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday, was caught in mid-off by Holder off Kane Williamson. Punjab Kings’ score was 29 for two in the powerplay. His third wicket could have fallen in the very next over but David Warner dropped Markram’s catch off Khaleel Ahmed. Punjab’s team’s score was 55 runs for two wickets in 10 overs. Gayle, known for his big shots, could not show aggression and was dismissed by Rashid Khan for 14 runs in 17 balls. Nicholas Pooran (08) also reached the pavilion in the next over like his senior West Indies teammate.
Markram’s innings ended in the 15th over when he was trying to hit big shots in an attempt to extend the innings. Deepak Hooda (13) after some catchy shots was caught by substitute fielder J Suchit. Punjab Kings added 14 runs in the last over of Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s innings and ended the innings at 125 for seven. Harpreet Brar remained unbeaten after scoring the same number of runs in 18 balls.
