The month of October is driven by the release of FIFA 22 (here is the review of FIFA 22), the new chapter in the football saga of Electronic Arts. Also this year on FIFA Ultimate Team it will be possible to play the mode Squad Battles, a weekly ranking that will allow you to obtain credits and packages. Here’s how it works.
FIFA 22 Squad Battles: how it works and Battle Points
Squad Battles (SB) is a mode for Ultimate Team in which you can challenge other players’ teams offline, then controlled by the AI Every week they are made available 40 games useful to climb the rankings; once the matches are over we will be able to continue playing, but without obtaining the Battle Points, the only currency you need to keep your team going. Experience is also feasible in Co-op: a Captain invites a friend and together they collide with the CPU, earning both points (as long as neither of them has exceeded the weekly threshold). On some occasions special Squad Battles are presented, unique matches in which it is possible to face the team of the week or a specially crafted team of footballers, FUT youtubers and other influential personalities.
The FIFA 22 Squad Battles leaderboard
The places available in the SB rankings are limited. This means that conquering a position in the weekly ranking, before it expires, does not guarantee you the related reward. It is therefore important to play all 40 matches to better defend your goal. Depending on the selected difficulty, here are the scores for each game:
- Beginner: Win 1500 points – Defeat 1400
- Newcomer: Victory 1550 points – Defeat 1400
- Amateur: Victory 1600 points – Defeat 1400
- Expert: Victory 1700 points – Defeat 1400
- Sample: Victory 1800 points – Defeat 1400
- Legend: Victory 1900 points – Defeat 1400
- Ultimate: Win 2000 points – Defeat 1400
Reward rankings
Every Sunday at 10 in the morning the weekly Squad Battles end, and prizes are awarded. The ranking depends on the amount of players who took part and is divided into percentage bands.
