Google Meet is undoubtedly one of the great applications of video conversation and has a very useful function, transcription. In other words, it transforms everything that is being said into subtitles. However, there was another one, the translations. Now that has changed and real-time translations have just arrived on Google Meet. It’s definitely great news for anyone who needs to talk to people all over the world but eventually doesn’t master all the languages.
Google Meet: real-time translations arrived!
Some people who have Google Workspace accounts have already found this new feature. However it is still in beta version. In any case, it allows you to translate text from English into French, German, Portuguese and Spanish. In other words, for now, English must always be the base language.
According to Google’s support site, this new feature will only be available for web versions. However, if you don’t have this novelty yet, you can speed up the process. For this you will need to have a Google Workspace account and fill in It is form.
Although this is a very interesting function, it may take some time for Google to get everything done properly.
This function will soon be available to all users.
Google is betting more and more on Meet and even Google’s calendar already has integration with this application. That said now, when we schedule an event, it is already possible to add a call to a video call. All we have to do is click Add Google Meet Video Conferencing.
When we click on the button then a link will be sent to the participants. It can be up to 100. Then when the time comes, just click Join with Google Meet.
It remains for us now to wait for the other news that are coming to this platform.
